BAYVIEW COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Bayview Celebrates Juneteenth!


In honor of Juneteenth, Felton’s Bayview Drop-In Center hosted a day of fun for clients and the community! Activities included board games, a domino tournament, and a soul train quiz. Bayview’s very own Chef prepared food from "Black to the Future” and clients were given goodie bags and giveaways such as sleeping bags and backpacks.

(re)MIND® Celebrates Pride!

(re)MIND® San Mateo participated in the San Mateo County ‘Love at Our Core’ Pride Celebration Event! The team showed their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and educated the public about Felton’s (re)MIND® programs.


Early Psychosis Division Director Adriana Furuzawa said of her team, “My “They’roes”, "Her’roes”, “She’roes” & heroes are claiming space and being seen, valued, and representing the recovery services that we offer.”

Juneteenth Advocacy Day Luncheon

Al Gilbert, President and CEO of Felton Institute and Co-Chair of the Black Leadership Council (BLC), attended BLC’s Juneteenth Advocacy Day Luncheon.


He was joined by fellow members, speakers, and awardees who honored and celebrated Black leadership and commitment to serving Black communities and beyond.

Felton Celebrates Our Dedicated AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteers!

The Senior Division hosted a luncheon for AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who serve in the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program and Senior Companion Program operated by Felton Institute in San Francisco.


Their unwavering dedication and commitment have made a significant impact on the lives of numerous individuals in our community and the event served as a platform to express our deepest appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
