Cedar Lake South Beach Mural Project
Help pick the new mural at Cedar Lake South Beach
from three design concepts!
The Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association has received public funding to install a mural on the exterior western wall of the Cedar Lake South Beach comfort station (restroom).

Voting is open to Cedar-Isles-Dean residents through July 5.

We had so much fun reading Nine-In-One by Cathy Spagnoli and creating tiger masks at our first event in June!

Families with young children come enjoy this new summer series! Pack a picnic and blanket and listen to a story and pARTicipate in a craft.
CIDNA Board Meeting
Wednesday, July 13, 6:00 pm
All CIDNA residents are invited. We will be meeting outdoors at Park Siding Park. Bring a chair and beverage of your choice and plan to enjoy a bit of socializing after the meeting.
If inclement weather is anticipated, we will notify everyone 24 hours in advance of a move to Zoom.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the gardens at Park Siding Park and visit with fellow CIDNA residents. No experience necessary, tools are provided, all are welcome!

Cedar-Isles Master Plan Update
CIDNA has a vital interest in this plan, because it will determine the 20-year future of Cedar Lake — which is already eutrophic, and Lake of the Isles. (Learn more)

The Park Board has begun presenting its preferred concept for the Cedar-Isles Master Plan. You can read it here. 

They have two more open house events scheduled:
Thursday, July 14, 4:30-6:30 pm at Cedar Lake South Beach
Saturday, July 16, 9-11 am at Lake of the Isles Parkway and Euclid Place
 
Park board staff will walk through their proposed design and answer questions from CAC members. Public comments will be accepted in the last 15 minutes.
After four years of restoration, we’re seeing Mother Nature come to life. Please saunter through South Cedar Point and enjoy all the native wildflowers and grasses. 
Fix-It Clinics are returning!
Get free help with your broken stuff and learn valuable repair skills. Hennepin County’s Fix-It Clinics offer free, guided assistance from volunteers.
