From the Tiger PAWS Tent Committee: The OC Tulip Festival is just 6 weeks away and the final details for this upcoming fundraiser are coming together! Support from every OCCS family is needed to make this large event successful each year. Tent work shifts and pie signups will take place at Signup.com. Mark your calendars for online shift signups on April 15^th and April 16^th from 6-8 PM. A list of jobs/tent shifts will be included in next week's announcement. Unless your family is a chairperson on the Tent, Soup, Pig or Straatmarket committees or the Tiger Paws treasurer; an adult member from your family is asked to work a shift at the tent. We are no longer able to sell homemade pies in the tent due to changes in the health code. For this reason, we are no longer asking families to bring pies. We plan to offer alternative dessert options in the tent.

Double Shift Signups on Monday, April 15^th: If you are willing to work at least two tent shifts, you can sign up early for double shifts. Consider working two shifts yourself or join with your spouse or friend and sign up early for the best choices. (One of the double shift workers must be an OCCS parent, and the second can be yourself or your spouse or non-OCCS parent to qualify for this incentive.) If you are hiring a high school student to work your shifts, remember to sign up for eligible jobs. They are highlighted in yellow on the tent schedule. High schoolers are only allowed to work certain shifts and jobs – once those spots are filled, your substitute must be a qualified adult. The shifts available for work for hires are noted on the website as well.

The school office will email the website links & signup instructions to all OCCS families at the signup times. Watch for those emails during the week of April 15^th! Reminder: If you only signup for one shift on Double Shift Signup Night, your spot will be deleted, and you will need to sign up again on April 16^th.

Single Shift Signups on April 16^th: If you didn't sign up for 2 shifts on April 15^th, you'll have to sign up on Tuesday, April 16^th on Signup.com. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please email occsmonica@gmail.com.
