The Ally: Thanks to All Who Attended Mental Health and Wellness Day

This week, we continue to track legislation and share practical policy updates. I hope you and your family find this information helpful.

Mental Health and Wellness Day at the Capitol was March 12. Please read what we shared with legislators and let your legislators know what you think is needed, especially when a loved one is in crisis, and their family wants to help them.

We also share some suggestions on what you can do if your child loses Medicaid or CHIP coverage.

March is Women's' History Month. Nobody is making more critical history than the moms, grandmothers and other women raising children with disabilities and other challenges. We respect you and are here for you. We re-share some thoughts about the journey from Nikki Flippins

March 13, from noon to 1 p.m. CDT, is our Supportive Coaching for Parents Supporting Other Parents. We encourage all parents providing peer support to other parents to join us.
