An expired credit card in a corporate or personal travel profile prevents Tangerine Travel from processing travel arrangements. This can lead to cancellations and increased costs for airline tickets, hotel confirmation and other travel quotes. Airline tickets and hotel confirmations cannot be guaranteed without a valid credit card.
Credit card companies and banks typically issue new cards 30-60 days prior to card expiration date. (Credit cards expire on the last day of the month noted on the credit card).
Helpful tip: We recommend you set a reminder to update your profile prior to credit card expiration to avoid costly delays and last-minute hassles.
