The Disparities Leadership Program (DLP) is now taking applications for the 2024-25 class. DLP is a year-long executive education program solely focused on helping healthcare leaders achieve equity in quality. It aims to translate the latest understanding of disparities into actionable solutions within your organization. Through the DLP, we aim to equip leaders to tackle healthcare transformation challenges by improving quality for populations experiencing disparities. The program has three main goals:
- Equip healthcare leaders with a deep understanding of disparities' causes, implementation vision, and organizational transformation strategies for high-value healthcare delivery.
- Assist leaders in creating tailored strategic plans or projects to reduce disparities, ensuring practical benefits for each organization.
- Establish a professional learning and networking environment for healthcare leaders to engage in peer learning, idea crowdsourcing, resource sharing, collaboration, and ongoing support through a national DLP alumni network.
- With 17 years of experience, the DLP is the nation's only program of its kind. It has trained 16 cohorts totaling 569 participants from 236 organizations across 35 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Switzerland.
