The  Adult Forum begins at 9 am.

The 301 Faith Partners Joint Ecological Team will be leading an Adult Forum on the theme of "Listen to the Voice of Creation".

We lament the loss of individuals, communities, species, and ecosystems, and those whose livelihoods are threatened by habitat loss and climate change. Our common prayer and action can help us listen for the voices of those who are silenced. Please join us in the Sunroom for this time of learning and conversation or by Zoom - Link to follow.

Habitat for Humanity

Saturday, October 29, 2022, is our final scheduled opportunity this year to work on our Faith-Build Home for Stephen & Ashlen.

As always, no experience or tools are needed, guidance is given by the Habitat staff, and a yummy free lunch is provided. The fall weather should be beautiful! There are only a few openings available, and priority is given to those who have not been out before. Our Builds especially welcome women, and teams of two or three, if you'd like to come with a friend.

For more info or to volunteer, email Gray here or call (970) 962-4057.

If you wish to donate to Habitat, St. Paul's has a $2-for-$1 match program in progress. Write a check to St Paul’s Episcopal Church, put Habitat for Humanity in the 'memo line' and drop it in our Sunday collection basket or drop off at the St.Paul's office.

Quality meals for all Colorado kids

First let the children eat all they want

(Mark7:27 NIV)

This November, Colorado voters can ensure access to free, nutritious meals made with quality ingredients for all students in public schools by voting YES on the Healthy School Meals for All ballot initiative, Prop FF.

Why Healthy School Meals for All? And why now?

  • Eliminates school lunch debt and lunch shaming (40% of students who are currently eligible don’t participate)
  • Removes stigma by ensuring school meals are treated the same way as textbooks and other core educational supports
  • Healthy School Meals for All was put in place as part of federal COVID-19 aide for 2020 and 2021. The program ended on June 30, 2022.
  • School nutrition departments dealt with COVID issues like increased need, inflation, and supply chain issues. Regular funding through the HSMA program can help respond to those for the long-term.
