During World War II, six million women entered the workforce. "Rosie the Riveter" and her "We Can Do It" motto came to symbolize all women Home Front workers.

Explore and learn about the many truths, the complex history, and the contributions women made to the war effort at the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park.


*Choose to visit the National Historical Park and

walk around the interactive exhibits in the museum. There are free films featured every half hour describing the war effort involving women. REGISTER

WRS Monthly Walks

Join your neighbors and others for

monthly walks in Marin.

We will walk about three miles for an hour, rain or shine, on paved paths throughout Marin. Join us in May for our walk around Tiburon.

Thank you and sincere gratitude to Judy Frumkin for her years of service to the Women of Rodef Sholom's Board of Directors. Judy is recognized for her steadfast dedication, stellar engagement, and work on behalf of WRS as Co-VP of Membership and for her leadership as co-Chair of the Membership Committee. Although Judy has recently ended her term on the WRS board, she plans to continue to attend Women of Rodef Sholom's events and activities as a beloved member of our sisterhood and community.

MOC will be be planning its next steps for its Living Wage Strategy and other issue campaigns, preparing for MOC’s upcoming Delegates Assembly on June 11, and sharing what they’ve learned from their ongoing relational meetings.
