I thought I would address the interesting current trends in "going to the movies," as the landscape is changing very quickly.
As all the major studios and content providers rush to build out their streaming networks, the movie theaters are caught in the middle of this revolution. Where my generation loved the movie theater experience, the new, younger generation with all the options available and the speed to which movies go to streaming, the eventual outcome to me seems very bleak. Factor in $20+ for popcorn and a sode, people talking and kicking your chair, and the lack of cleanliness my wife and I have experienced, I see the possible end of an era.
