Boatyard Biz: Spring splash is sprung

Boats in our yards are finding their rightful homes back in the water this week as the spring splash season officially gets going here at Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South.

As a reminder, If you are winter storing with us this year, please be aware that both marinas will be enforcing a "No Cash, No Splash" policy, meaning that if a storage customer's account is not current at the time of their desired launch, said vessel will remain on the hard until payment is received. Payment is always due upon receipt of an invoice and/or statement. For any questions or concerns, please contact us.

If you have not done so already, please submit your spring commissioning work order, via the online work order form or downloadable PDF, as soon as possible.

Recap: Seminar Series '24 wraps

Haven Harbour Yacht Services' spring 2024 Seminar Series, hosted by Technical Lead Erik Lostrom, came to a close last Saturday with its third and final session on boat maintenance topics that included coatings, caulks, fasteners and fiberglass.

"A good turnout came for our last seminar this season, with coatings being the focus," said Erik. "Tony Brilz, our skilled paint and composite tech, went over the 'dos and don'ts' of these areas, with our local Pettit Paint rep providing helpful background on their various products and applications. Remember that our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always available for technical assistance. See you on the water!"
