The Dance Corner New: March 2023
Throwback to TDC dancers performing "Irish Soda Bread" in Winter Follies 2018.

Hello TDC families!
March is here and hopefully, soon it will feel like Spring! We are 12 class weeks away from recital 2023!

I know many of you are new to The Dance Corner and may have questions about recital.

Our team is working hard to put together all the info you need to know about the shows. Details about rehearsals, ticket sales, yearbook ads, t-shirt ordering and more will be coming out over the next few weeks via email and our recital website-

I am looking forward to embarking on this recital season adventure with all of you!

Thank you for choosing The Dance Corner!

Warm regards,
Miss Carrie

Monday, March 13
to
Saturday, March 18

Wear all your favorite GREEN clothing and accessories to classes. Be sure you can dance safely in whatever your wear.

PLUS invite a parent to class with you!

Monday, 3/13- Saturday, 3/18, The Dance Corner invites parents into the dance studio to participate in their child's class. The end of the year recital gives parents a chance to see the culmination of 10 months of dance classes. This mid-year participation week, will give parents a chance to experience first class alongside their child and experience first hand the hard work that goes on in the classroom each week.

Due to space limitations, we can only allow one guest per student in each class.
Waiting area observation windows will be open as usual, so other guests may watch from outside the studio. Younger brothers and sisters sometimes have following the studio rules and participating in the class material and can be disruptive to the class, so we encourage parents not to bring them if possible. Instructors may ask parents to move to the lobby with younger siblings if they are distracting the class.

Parents should wear socks (or sneakers for hip hop) and comfortable clothes they can move freely in to participate in class. I encourage you to save the date and join us to dance and learn alongside your child and to see their progress.

Our youngest students may be confused if we invite parents into the studio to dance with them one week and not the next so we will not offer Parent Participation in Wednesday 9:30am, Saturday and 8:45am Twinkle Twos classes.
Additionally, our Ensemble teams are in the middle of competition season and we would like them to remain focused, so we are not inviting parents into those classes.
Dirty Shoes
Help us keep our floors clean for dancers!
The sand, salt and much of winter is being tracked into our dance studios and we need your help to keep our floors clean and safe for dancers.

Please DO NOT wear your dance shoes into TDC from outdoors. Bring your clean dance shoes with you into the building and change into them once your are inside. Moisture will ruin your jazz, tap and ballet shoes. They should only be worn for class and performance.

We ask that HIP HOP students be especially mindful of this.

Please DO NOT WEAR YOUR HIP HOP SNEAKERS OUTDOORS.

Students should bring clean soled sneakers to class with them.

thank you!
