In a recent study, U-M Center for RNA Biomedicine faculty member Santhi Ganesh, M.D., and colleagues identified specific genetic drivers of blood pressure regulation in females. The results were published in an article in Nature Medicine, and hold significant implications for future development of therapeutic strategies.

On March 21, 2024, the University Record reported on a Toronto Sun story about a recent ALS risk-factor study by a team of U-M scientists, including CRB faculty members Eva Feldman, Stephen Goutman, and Stuart Batterman, who found that golfing, gardening, and other recreational activities can increase the risk for Lou Gehrig’s disease due to exposure to pesticides and other chemicals.

Pedro Lowenstein develops new model of known brain tumor feature
