ATTENDANCE REPORTING Please report absences, late arrivals, or early dismissals by 7:45am to [email protected]. Also include your child's teacher on the email.  All doors close at 8:10am daily for grades K-8. If your child is tardy, they will need to enter the main school doors on Waiola.

The 1st graders were buzzing with excitement as they welcomed their Older Friends who joined them for Mass, BINGO, and a tour of their classrooms! The 1st grade service theme is "Caring for our Older Friends".

We want to show our appreciation to all our students during the first week in May. The Positive School Committee has declared that there will be no homework on Thursday May 4th! A no homework Thursday! A special treat for the students indeed.

 

In addition, every student will be receiving a free ice cream cone certificate from McDonalds! The coupon will go home on Thursday May 4th for the students to enjoy.

Grades 1-5 were treated to a visit from author Dustin Brady, who was promoting his new book, The World's Worst Time Machine. Mr. Brady performed magic, discussed the writing process, and talked about his popular Trapped in a Video Game book series. Everyone had a fun morning and learned a lot! Thanks for visiting St. Francis Xavier, Mr. Brady!!

Last week on April 21st, Full Time BASE registration began.


Tomorrow, April 27th Open BASE registration begins IN-PERSON at the Park District of LaGrange:


Once your paperwork has been looked over by your school’s supervisor, you will be asked to take your paperwork to the front desk to have your card chipped. If you do not take your finalized paperwork to the front desk, pay the $50 registrations fee, and have your card chipped you will not be registered for the 2023-2024 school year.


Some families have expressed concern that they will not be able to attend registration. You can send your paperwork with a family member or friend that you trust with your financial information/payment method. Please reach out to Leanna [email protected] and Melissa [email protected] with any questions you may have.

The theme this year is "Singing Through the Decades!", AND we are including 7th and 8th grade! Grades that are performing include 1, 3, 5, 7, & 8.

Dress: Sunday Best 

Arrival Time: 6:00-6:10pm - Parents may enter the gym after 6:00pm. Doors will be locked at 6:30pm. Students should report to Joyce Hall.
