2022-2023 Year End Reminders

Please submit all transactions to Kim Meigs by June 15, 2023 in order for the Foundation to close out the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Be extra careful when reviewing and reconciling your final June statement. This statement will establish your carry-over balance for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Refer to the Checklist for Financial Responsibilities for weekly, monthly and year end responsibilities. Work with your team to establish the budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Your budget must be approved according to your bylaws and submitted to the Foundation. Update the Foundation with any new officer information using the Chapter Contact Form. If you are onboarding a new Treasurer make sure to reach out to Kim Meigs to set up training. Please look through the Unclaimed Transactions sheet. There may be donations your chapter is missing.

Shop till you Drop to raise funds for your Chapter! This is a great opportunity for your Chapter to sell tickets to a fun-filled day of shopping and get a portion of the ticket sales back. Sell extravaganza tickets for just $30 each, and $20 of each ticket sold goes directly back to your organization! Attendees will receive exclusive shopping discounts throughout the mall, and be entered to win more than $65,000 in prize giveaways as well. Applications are due June 30, 2023. Please see informational letter and application for further instructions.

Cristy was always willing to help with anything, in any way, at any time! Her devotion to the Foundation made a big impression on the students, parents, teachers, and schools here in Douglas County.

Annual Back-to-School Chapter Meeting We will be hosting our Annual Chapter Meeting for the 2023-2024 school year in August/September. This meeting will cover Foundation updates, best practices for Chapters, a Vendor Fair, and a drawing for tickets, vouchers, gift certificates, and more! At least two representatives from each Chapter should plan to attend this very important meeting. Please keep an eye out for the location and date.
