We've had a bountiful persimmon season this year - and we have a new orchard harvest that was just arranged!
On Sunday December 15 we have one more BIG opportunity to harvest up to 5,000 pounds of delicious Fuyu persimmons from one of our favorite orchards in San Martin, a rural community next to Morgan Hill.
Submit your sign-up request for either harvest through the
Events calendar.
Since late October our home and orchard harvests have gathered over 14,000 pounds of persimmons to share with neighbors in need. This is a huge achievement that we can all be proud of.
If you haven't participated in a persimmon harvest before, or if you'd like to relive the highlights and show your loved ones about what you've been a part of - check out the
2024 Persimmon Season photo gallery and recap by orchard harvest coordinator Megan Elmore.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do, for 23 years and counting. Thank YOU for helping the community and being a part of Village Harvest.
