DACC Students and Families,

On Thursday, December 1st, we held our annual Open House and welcomed students and their families into our building who are interested in attending DACC someday. Many of our current students were on campus that evening, serving as tour guides or ambassadors for their program, and we couldn't be more proud of their professionalism and hospitality. The confidence, maturity, and critical skills they displayed that evening certainly left a lasting impression on our visitors. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Please read below for upcoming events and important information for the coming weeks.

Semester Exams

The Delaware Area Career Center will no longer require instructors to give semester exams to determine a portion of the semester average for grades. Teachers will continue to develop rigorous learning opportunities and allow students to apply their learning in ways beyond memorization. Using an evidence-based model, teachers continually assess, provide feedback and fill gaps. Additionally, students will continue to have the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency through state testing and credential exams.23.
