Cover Story: Sunsets and more on the menu this fall at Admirals Club

Haven Harbour South's Admirals Club Beachside Bar is open for autumn, and now offers more than just spectacular scenery and sensational sunsets.

This year we are making the most of recent improvements, keeping Rock Hall Harbor's tropical oasis open for longer than in years past. Case in point being our brand new sunset deck and fire tables (pictured above), expanded beach with fire pits, Adirondack chairs, cozy loungers and more.

"'If you build it, they will come.' Well, we built it and hope you come!" said Managing Director Charlie Petosa. "We are so excited about our latest improvements which will allow many to enjoy the incredible setting of Haven Harbour South. The Admirals Club Beachside Bar is open to the public – so come one, come all!"

Our food and beverage team is working especially hard, crafting seasonal specials, delicious drinks and amazing experiences to last through what some call the best season of them all – fall.

"The team and I are excited," added recently hired Food and Beverage Manager Kimberlee Cole. "We look forward to serving our customers and community through fall and winter."

The Admirals Club is maintaining its summer schedule, and will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:00–9:00 p.m., Fridays from 2:00–9:00 p.m., Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.; and Sundays from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Live entertainment, football broadcasts and more will be announced right here in News @HHMR, as well as on Facebook.

Due to weather, the Admirals Club team this evening will be welcoming and serving guests next door in Haven Harbour South's Ark Atrium, where a live performance from the Chris Sacks Band will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Fall is Here: Autumn window displays bring seasonal spin to marine stores

The seasons are brought to life in the form of one-of-a-kind window displays – all part of a relatively new tradition for our Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South marine stores.

Fall currently takes center stage, and is being welcomed in with pinecones, hay bales, corn stalks, a couple of scare crows, and oh-so many pumpkins. Take a ride or walk by (and come inside) to have a look for yourself!

Happening Now: Haven Harbour attending Annapolis Sail Show

Today is the opening of this year's U.S. Sailboat Show in historic downtown Annapolis. Haven Harbour staff will be in proud attendance all weekend long, manning Booths A2–A4 until the show's closing on Monday afternoon, Oct. 17.

HAVEN HARBOUR SOUTH WINTER STORAGE TIP

Attention Haven Harbour South winter storage customers – please be sure to top-off your fuel tanks before turning your vessel over to us for winterization and haul-out. Fuel is not offered on-site at Haven Harbour South, and we are unable to provide this important part of the winterization process to you. We also suggest adding a fuel stabilizer to your tank at time of fueling.

DECOMMISSIONING FOOD DONATIONS

As a friendly note to our wintering storage customers, the marine stores at Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South will be providing donation boxes for any un-opened food items to be donated from your vessel to a local food bank before being hauled and/or decommissioned.

ROCK HALL ELEMENTARY SOCK-TOBER DRIVE

The marine store at Haven Harbour Marina will be a sock drop-off point for the month of October. Rock Hall Elementary School is collecting donations of new socks to help keep families warm this winter.
