104th Edition

Hello Karen,

Back in January I had the privilege of being part of an awareness and training event for Reactive Attachment Disorder and therapeutic parenting. We covered every angle we could: dealing with the RAD diagnosis, implementing therapeutic techniques in the classroom, the importance of helping healthy siblings living in a home with RAD, how to find new tools for your parenting toolbox to help promote attachment and healing, finding hope and healing as someone who experienced RAD as a child, and how people can support children and families living with Reactive Attachment Disorder.

One of the event organizers was able to video record a few of the speakers and talks, and I am share them with you below to spread the hope and help that was made available at this event.

Enjoy!

Books to Boost Your Parenting!

"We bought the therapeutic parenting book, “What Are They Doing? The What, Why, and How of Therapeutic Parenting.” I came home, started reading it, and honestly started crying happy tears. It made me realize that I wasn’t a “bad” parent, just a therapeutic one. I have been doing so many of those out of survival and knowing it sometimes worked." -Therapeutic Mom
