TIME TO SCHEDULE!!

It is time to schedule your AERATION of your WARM SEASON GRASS (Zoysia, Bermuda, St Augustine, and Centipede grasses).

Aeration relieves compaction and allows air to reach the roots of your lawn.

Benefits of warm-season aeration:

  • Improved air and water infiltration
  • Increased nutrient availability to the roots
  • Increased turf density
  • Reduced thatch development
  • Prep your lawn for the colder month to come.

How do I know if I have warm season grass?

If your grass goes dormant and turns yellow/brown in the colder month (Fall & Winter), it means that you have warm season grass!

If it stays green year round, you have Fescue and you can aerate and overseed in the early Fall.

MAY PROJECTS

Here is below what we did in May.

LANDSCAPING

  • This project for a repeat client was fun. We installed a small privacy fence on the side of the house, replaced some sod that had not done well because of the shade , pruned back some trees, installed some edging , egg rock to help with water run off. In the front we installed edging and slate chips to refresh the front walkway. We also installed some more sod in the front yard that looks great.

PAVER WALKWAYS

  • This landscape project is also for a repeat client. Here we installed lots of plants, bamboo barrier, we corrected the drainage dry creek bed, and we installed long needle pine straw.

LANDSCAPING

  • This project was for another repeat customer that is also a maintenance client. We installed fresh river rock for the dry creek bed. We also installed flagstone stepping stones, and we refreshed the long needle pine straw.

HARDSCAPING

  • This little job was for a very nice client, lawn maintenance client and repeat project client. We did some flagstone stair treads and dry creek bed. Here are the before and after pictures.
