Liebe SAGA Alumni and Friends,
...and just like that, another school year has (almost) gone by! At this juncture, I find myself reflecting on "all of the things:" the incredible student growth we're lucky to witness as educators; the new friendships formed and cemented; the camaraderie among SAGA teachers and staff, the familiar traditions that have forged SAGA's culture over decades; and the new things we try each year to continually nourish and improve our students' and families' experiences.
One such experience that touches on these points was our inaugural 5th grade class trip to Warm Beach. Over a few days with their classmates and teachers, these almost-SAGA-graduates spent their days connecting, laughing, and learning in nature. It's experiences like these—the hands-on, the immersive, the less scripted—that act as superchargers for personal growth and for strengthening the bonds of friendship. These same bonds connect our alumni and their families well beyond their SAGA years.
We hope you take a peek below at our final few announcements for this year. Though this newsletter takes a summer break, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any reason at all: ideas for community events, feedback, or just to say hallo :-)
Wishing you all warm, sunny summer days,
~Anjanette Gonzales, Head of School
