As we reflect on this season of gratitude, all of us at REF are immensely thankful for you and your continued support of Ravenswood families. As you likely know from your own personal experiences with school, a great teacher, administrator, or staff member is deeply impactful not only for the child but for the entire family. Thank you for giving the gift of a great education to the families of Ravenswood.

One of the families your donation supports is the Feleti-Coleman family whose two older children, Kaleai and Matai, attend Ravenswood's Belle Haven School in eastern Menlo Park. Their mom, Lautusi shares:

"The support we get from the teachers - not only the teachers, but the principal, vice principal, office staff - they help out so much through Parentsquare, meetings, and support. We really appreciate it.”

“We didn’t have that kind of support growing up. The staff and teachers truly care for our kids, and it shows. That’s why we’re committed to staying in the Ravenswood City School District—I couldn’t do it without them. They don’t waste time; they share information and are very hands-on.”

Your support as a REF donor is vital, accounting for nearly 20% of the district’s budget. This generous funding fully supports 32 positions, enhances salaries for all staff, and enables enriching field trips, engaging family nights, professional development, and so much more. By contributing, you’re making a profound impact on the daily experiences of students like Kaleia and Matai, their families like the Feleti-Colemans, and the dedicated educators in Ravenswood.
