Every Saturday and Sunday the park will be a hub for holiday fun! At the Cider Station (near Grand Central Station), you can enjoy hot cider and snacks by the bonfire, sing holiday carols, enjoy some scavenger hunts, and quiz yourself with trivia questions to test your Gillette Castle knowledge.

We have a daily raffle for a beautiful, glossy, 240-page paperback book, ‘A Shared Landscape: A guide and history of Connecticut's state parks & forests.

Don't forget the beautiful trails! The grounds in winter are graced with excellent river views. Download your very own Hiking and History map, or pick up a copy when you get here (a $1.00 donation is requested to help defray printing costs).
