Good morning! Here is your Things@King's weekly update.

The student version of Things@King's will be switching to a monthly schedule.


The next issue will be on July 2, 2024.

The submission deadline for the next issue is June 26, 2024 at noon.

Priority Course Registration

Enrolment Services will be in touch the week prior to your priority course registration - monitor your Western email throughout the summer for important information!

 

You are encouraged to check your grade report on the Student Center. Once you have logged in, click “Academics”, “Program Status”, “Grade Report – Progression.” Note any progression or degree requirement(s) that need to be completed under the “Remarks” section prior to course registration.

 

Priority Course Registration Dates For Fall/Winter 2024:

  • Year 4: July 8 to July 12
  • Year 3: July 15 to July 19
  • Year 2: July 22 to July 26

Academic Advising Appointments and Drop-ins


Do you want to see an Academic Advisor? Drop-ins and appointments reopen today, Monday, June 10. The quickest way to see an Academic Advisor is to attend a drop-in virtually or in-person. To see the hours and options for meeting with an Advisor, please visit the Academic Advising webpage.

Sociology Student Survey


As part of its ongoing efforts to improve its programs and understand student experiences, King's Sociology Department wants to hear from its students! The survey linked here should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and respondents can enter into a draw to win one of three $100 gift cards to an online store of your choice. The Write Place Summer Appointments


Need constructive feedback on an assignment or a creative writing project? The Write Place is open for the summer, Monday through Friday. They offer face-to-face, online synchronous, or online asynchronous appointments. View the most updated schedule and book an appointment.

Please note: There will be no 5 p.m. Eucharist and community meal until September. Midday Eucharist, normally held every Thursday and Friday, has also ended until September. We will continue the Tuesday 7 p.m. Eucharist, except for any vacation time, as well as Sundays at 10 a.m.
