Dear Lower School Families,

 

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Columbus Academy Scholastic Book Fair. This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all Book Fair profits are used to provide books for our classrooms, libraries and projects such as the annual Kids 4 Kids service learning project.

 

Here's what you need to know about the Book Fair: it will take place October 25-28 in the hallway outside the Barton Room. Happily, this year’s Book Fair will return to a pre-pandemic experience.

  • You may once again shop during school hours, including shopping with your student during your student’s classroom browsing time. A letter will soon be coming home in your student’s backpack with when your student’s browsing time will take place.
  • For our Explorer and PreK students, we will have the Book Fair brought to them in their classrooms instead of visiting the Book Fair so that it is a more manageable experience for them.
  • We will have after-school browsing times on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 25-26 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
