After 15 years of construction, beginning with the maintenance building in 2009, it would appear that any impactful renovations are now complete.
The latest area to be renovated is the front of the club house.
Construction started September 2023 and has been completed well in advance of opening day 2024.
This revamped area will feature an expanded walkway, a dedicated path for golf carts, and a future area for a snack shack. (No details available on the completion of the snack shack)

Flight Adjustments
The 2024 season will begin with slight handicap adjustments to Flights 4 and 5.
This will be monitored to see if any further adjustments are necessary.
- Flight #1 – Hdcp 6 and under
- Flight #2 – Hdcp 7 to 11
- Flight #3 – Hdcp 12 to 15

Flight #4 – Hdcp 16 to 19 (2023 - 16 to 20)

First Tee Time (TBD)
Cougar Creek Golf Resort is one of Alberta’s finest challenges. It is nestled in a natural forest on rolling terrain. Spruce, birch, poplar and aspen line many of the holes, which are generously spotted with sand bunkers, and most have water in play.
Since opening in August of 1996, many golfers have tested their skills and enjoyed the challenges of Cougar Creek. Our facility offers a unique golf experience for all levels of players as multiple tees allow the course to be played from 5,200 yards to nearly 7,000 yards.
Located a short 30-minute drive West of Edmonton, Cougar Creek is designed for those who enjoy and look forward to playing the game of golf.
We have a limited number of spots available so watch for the email notification and please sign-up early.
Deadline for entries will be advised.
The final cost per person is still to be determined.

Club Championship

ALL Club Championship prizes will be paid out in CASH! (E-transfer)
The Tournament Prize Fee, for the 2024 Club Championship, is to be sent by E-transfer to victoriagolf.mc@gmail.com.

Club Championship Qualifying Requirements
All members or associate members, require eight men's club events, from May 1st until August 14th, to compete for flight prizes in the Club Championship or to become Club Champion.
All members or associate members, with less than eight men's club events, are still welcome to play in the Club Championship, within a social flight, eligible for hole prizes only.
Men's club events include
- Wednesday play
- Tournament play
- Match play outside of regular men's club schedule
Club Championship weekend
NO playing or practicing on the course is allowed after 8pm the evening prior to the beginning of the tournament
- Players found on the course after 8pm will be disqualified!
- During Club Championship NO music will be allowed on the course.
- During Club Championship ALL cell phones must be set to silent.
- All RCGA rules will be in effect, except where local rules supersede.
