A Sweet Surprise: Kindness Club and Rotary Pack Birthday Gift Bags for Food Pantries

The Alden Place Elementary School Kindness Club and the Millbrook Rotary teamed up to make Birthday Gift Bags for local food pantries this week! Filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, sprinkles and cards, the bags were donated by Lyall Community Church, the local 4th grade Girl Scouts, Beekman Elementary School Kindness Club and a Rotary Grant as well as friends and family of Rotary. The Kindness Club members had a great time together while packing the bags and writing birthday wishes.

Alden School Psychologist Tonya Pulver said that the project was a great way to spread kindness and joy to those in need.

The Birthday Gift Bags will be distributed to the food pantries in the coming weeks. The Kindness Club looks forward to continuing this project in the future in conjunction with the Rotary!

Vision and Goals for Capital Project

We thank the Millbrook community for joining us to learn more about our capital project during information sessions held throughout February and March. The goal of these events was to provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about the Capital Project as well as ask questions and share feedback.

MCSD's Strategic Plan is the foundation of our capital project planning initiative, with components of our mission, vision, values and pillars permeating every aspect of our proposed project design.
