HS & MS Youth Sunday School

In the Youth 9am class we are watching the Chosen TV series. So far we have watched the first 2 episodes of Season One. We will continue to watch each episode and reflect on them as it brings scripture to life. We will also continue to serve breakfast during this time.

Youth Sunday Takeover Planning

We will be spend the first half of youth group writing and planning the Youth Takeover Sunday service on April 14th with Pastor Stephanie. Afterwards we will have time for games and fellowship!

Easter Service Egg Hunt - Help!

Everyone is welcome to participate in our annual Easter Egg hunt after worship on Easter Sunday! Make sure you bring your easter baskets to collect your eggs!

If you would like to participate but cant make it to the event, we are collecting candy to put inside the eggs! Please bring your candy by the church office starting on March 10th on Sunday morning or during office hours. You could also order Easter candy online and have it sent directly to the church!

In addition the HS & MS Youth will help stuff eggs during the 9 am class this Sunday 3/17. On Easter morning the Children's Ministry could use some help putting eggs out for the hunt. If any HS & MS youth are able to arrive at 9:00 am and help it would be greatly appreciated!

Bowling Fun!

On April 7th the MS & HS youth groups will meet at Funway in Batavia, 1335 S. River Street, from 4 - 6 pm for some bowling fun! The cost per youth will be $10 or $25 max per family this includes shoe rental. Bring money if you wish to purchase drinks or snacks.

The lanes are accessible and friends are always welcome! We will start and end at the bowling alley. See you there at 4:00pm! If you have any questions please email Angie Bateman at abtmn95@gmail.com.

Youth Sunday/Senior Recognition

During the April 14th service the HS & MS Youth will be leading many parts of the worship service. We will also recognizing Seniors and they will have time to share/reflect on their time at FVPC with the congregation.

Summer Tutoring Program

This will be the third summer the Children’s Ministry Committee is hosting a free tutoring program at FVPC. We look forward to partnering with families and schools to support the development of confident and capable learners in our community.

We need tutors! If you are interested in registering your child for tutoring or signing up to be a tutor yourself , contact Dorene Tieche for more information!

Spring Flower Fundraiser

The FVPC youth are hosting the Spring Flower Fundraiser again this year. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the Summer Mission Trip to Guatemala. The youth will be taking orders in person before and after worship on 4/7 & 4/14. For more information on how to order visit the Youth Ministry webpage.
