Women's Ministry Girls' Night Out

Monday, March 18

Our Spring Girls' Night Out will be on Monday, March 18, at 6:00 pm, at Yafo Kitchen in Southpark (address is 720 Gov Morrison St #120, Charlotte, NC 28211). The only cost is the cost of your dinner!

We do Girls' Night Outs quarterly throughout the year as a way for women to enjoy fellowship together. This is a great way for ladies who are new to the church to get connected. We hope to see everyone there!

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 23

Children’s ministry invites you to attend our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, from 9:30 am – 11:30 am in the Community Life Center (CLC). This is a family fun time for children 5th grade and younger to come for story time*, crafts and an egg hunt. We hope to see you there! *Story times are at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends and neighbors to join you. Have questions, contact Amy at awallace@christcovenant.org.

Candy Needed for Easter Egg Hunt

Children’s ministry is requesting donations of bags of individually wrapped candy for the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23. Baskets are available for donation drop off at the Children’s Ministry Welcome Desk in the north lobby and at the Guest Center in the main lobby. Have questions, contact Amy Wallace at awallace@christcovenant.org.

Volunteers Needed for the Easter Egg Hunt

Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers for the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23! If you can sit at a table and do crafts with a child, if you can play games with kids, if you can hide plastic easter eggs or if you can be a smiling, welcoming face, we can use you! Adults, youth, seniors, all are needed and welcome! This is an amazing opportunity to share the gospel with our own kids and with the visitors we are praying God will send to us! Please click here to pick your spot or email acerrato@christcovenant.org.

Monthly Prayer for Our Nation

Sunday, March 24

All are invited to join us once a month for a time of prayer focused on our nation. Throughout Scripture, we read of God’s people calling out to him for help, guidance, and direction for its leaders and land. In this election year it seems right to gather, not for politics, but prayer. Would you join us on Sunday, March 24, from 5:00 pm – 5:40 pm, in the worship center room 107 as we gather to call on God’s name?

Monthly Day of Prayer

Tuesday, March 26

All are invited to participate in the Monthly Day of Prayer on Tuesday, March 26. There are two ways you can participate. One is to come in-person for your prayer time to the Covenant Day School Conference Room located in the A Building (this room is located next to the church’s main office) anytime between 7:30 am – 7:00 pm. Prayer guides are provided. Another option is to pick a time slot and pray where you are, whether that’s at home or at work. The day is divided into 30-minute segments for individuals to sign up and pray for supported workers and for the needs of our congregation. You can select the time that best fits your schedule by clicking here. We also hope you will take time to submit your confidential prayer requests online either by clicking here or by email atprayer@christcovenant.org.

Volunteers Needed for HisAbilities Respite Night

Deadline to Register is March 30

Christ Covenant’s HisAbilities ministry needs volunteers for our upcoming Spring Respite Night on Saturday, April 20. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our church to come alongside Christ Covenant families impacted by disability by providing a few hours of respite for parents while their children are cared for and engaged by a team of volunteers providing a safe environment with a variety of fun activities! Volunteers must be a member of Christ Covenant, but no experience with disabilities is needed to serve (training resources are provided and we work to make sure our volunteers are serving in a capacity in which they are comfortable). The evening is always a rich blessing and a great time to make encouraging connections with this special part of our church body! Respite Night is held in the lower level of the Community Life Center, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

To learn more or register to volunteer please contact Amy Van Dusen at avandusen@christcovenant.org. The deadline for volunteer registration is March 30. And if you are a member or attending family impacted by disability or special needs who would benefit from participating or would just like to learn more about Respite Night, please contact Amy Van Dusen as well. Participants need to register by April 6.

O Nights - Christ Covenant Outreach Nights

Tuesday, April 2

Everyone is invited to join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month for Christ Covenant Outreach Nights, called O Nights. Our next one is Tuesday, April 2, from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm. One O Night per month will be outreach/evangelism in the community with people going into different sections of the community to share their faith. The other O Night each month will have some time of training to equip our people, but for those that are comfortable with evangelism and don’t need the training, they will still have the option of going out to do surveys/evangelism.

Our desire is to provide different opportunities where we can learn more about our community while at the same time care for people, take steps of faith to engage with others, and to avail ourselves to opportunities to share the gospel. It also gives us the opportunity to serve together, pray for our community, and see God work in another way.

We will meet in the south lobby of the worship center. If you do not feel comfortable walking, we would love for you to participate by praying on our campus. Please bring your small group, family, etc. and join us! If you have any questions, contact Amy Van Dusen at avandusen@christcovenant.org.
