June 2024
May 19th was Pentecost Sunday, the day when the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus’ disciples and marked the beginning of the Church. Acts 2 documents the immediate aftermath and how the early Church lived in light of God’s Spirit: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Today, may we share in their same devotion to God and to one another.

Global Compassion Fund Updates

During the first week of 2024, the Terai region of eastern Nepal experienced an unusual cold snap. Children and elderly people with limited economic resources were unprepared for the extreme weather. We partnered with BIC Nepal to provide sweaters and wooly caps for 160 school children and thick, warm blankets for 160 families.
