Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 12.

Be sure to set clocks ahead an hour as we "spring forward." We don't want to begin worship without you!

Sunday Morning Coffee Hour Chats
After the sermon on Sunday, would you like to continue thinking about it with fellow worshipers?

Have you ever found yourself wishing there were opportunity to share your reflections about what a sermon says to you? Have you wished you could discuss sermons further?

If so, please join us in the Page Smith Room this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.

We'll be making "Sharing Thoughts on Today's Sermon" the focus of this week's Coffee Hour Chats, fifteen to twenty minutes of informal conversation with one another following the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Come join us!

Time:
   Sunday, March 12
   10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Worshiping Together at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
This Sunday--which is a Baptism Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.--we will again be welcoming our Sunday School children to the first half of those two services.

Children age three through grade five will come to the Sanctuary with their parents at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. and sit with them as they experience worship in the larger church family to which they belong.

Our usual family worship bulletin will be available for the children to use during worship (as it is each week, as we are always glad to have children be part of the service!), and at the time of the Gloria Patri, the children will be called forward to take part in a "Liturgy of Sending" before heading to their Sunday School classrooms with their teachers.

Please join us in welcoming our Sunday School children to worship this Sunday!

Time:

pathThe Immigrant Experience
A July Mission Trip with BorderLinks
Join Abbi Heimach-Snipes this summer in learning--through a variety of experiences--about borders, immigration, and social justice along the Mexican-Arizonan border as well as the ways people of faith are responding.

Abbi will be leading our "Immigrants and the United States" mission trip July 22-29 in partnership with BorderLinks in Tucson, Arizona. Together participants on this mission journey will have opportunity to
  • witness the desert where people cross the border
  • learn about key border and immigration policies and history
  • hear stories of migrants, refugees, and social justice activists
  • explore the gospel imperative to work for justice for immigrants and refugees
  • visit community organizations, economic development organizations, churches, and business cooperatives that support immigrants and refugees
  • reflect on the challenges and opportunities that exist around immigration and our own context
Want to know more? Contact Abbi.

To sign up, register online by Sunday, March 26.
