In this sixth and final episode of Breaking Barriers’ first season, fourth-year BSW student Felicity Santiago and third-year Disability Studies student Haven Raeburn-Gibson discuss accessibility at King's. As part of AccessAbility Week in Canada, they explore navigating campus life with a disability and Haven’s use of an assistive device academically.

Keeping Up with King's

The Write Place Summer Appointments


Need constructive feedback on an assignment or a creative writing project? The Write Place is open for the summer, Monday through Friday. They offer face-to-face, online synchronous, or online asynchronous appointments. View the most updated schedule and book an appointment.

Summer Drop-In Hours for Advising Office


The Advising Office will pause drop-in hours and appointments from May 6 to June 7, as the team will be busy adjudicating student records for graduation, progression, and admission into programs. If you have questions about your summer courses, you can visit our front office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, or email Academic Advising. For more information, visit our webpage.

Breaking Barriers - Find Your Financial Stability

 

This fourth episode of Breaking Barriers follows two students to school. One student is financially stable and the other is not. Come along on this journey as we see two very different university experiences and where you can reach out for help if needed.
