A Message from our Membership Director Deborah Swan | |
Hello Members!
Summer is here and it’s heating up at SRACC! June 20th is the “official” first day of summer and of course we have an event on that day, our Business and Pleasure Networking (third Thursday)! We will be here at the Chamber with Indian River Hauntings, LLC and Larry Lawson, author of "Haunted Indian River County." You can meet Larry, get your copy signed by him, and hear about the paranormal lore of the area!
Our last Concert in the Park is on June 7th and the City of Sebastian will be participating with their 100th Centennial Tent! Our Concert Sponsors have a great opportunity to participate and make this summer concert an awesome event! Make your plans to attend this special concert and enjoy SoCal and Country Rock music by fellow Chamber Member Tom MacLear and Renele!
A special ribbon cutting event is on the calendar for the Sebastian Area Historical Society Museum, to present the new Historical Map Room on June 25th at 9am. We are so lucky to have this historical museum for our Sebastian community to look back on how far we have come. Please make sure to attend this special event!
Finally Friday Event #3 finishes out this sizzling month on June 28th! We are excited to bring you this new event for Sebastian. This will be the final “trial” event that will be assessed by the City of Sebastian to determine if this will be a monthly event in Sebastian!
That’s not all, we have our monthly Networking Breakfast on June 7th at Seawinds Funeral Home, and a special Luncheon location at Mo-Bay Grill on June 11th. The luncheon will feature our own Tourism Director Nicholas Sanzone, as he gives us a private tour of the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway. Nick is also the President of the IRLNSB and this event is sponsored by Marine Resources Council. This will sell out, please register early!
I want to thank all the members who have brought in great SWAG for our new member welcome bags! I am excited to share these gifts with new members and your business will benefit from your participation! If your business would like to participate, the bag is never full, bring me your swag!
Lastly, Save the Date for our New Member Mingle on July 24th 5pm - 7pm! This event is primarily for new members who have joined in the last 4 months and members in need of a refresher of Chamber opportunities. Additionally, there is a Sponsor opportunity for the New Member Mingle - $350 (or) sponsor supplies food and beverage for the event! Call/email Cheryl Thibault, President/CEO, for all the details to sponsor this event and promote your business!
Happy Summertime!

In recent years, the quest for comprehensive and accessible legal services has led many to explore the realm of affordable Legal Service Plans.
Forbes Advisor has put a spotlight on an unparalleled leader in this space. LegalShield (Established in 1972), has been dubbed the "Best Overall Prepaid Legal Service Plan" of 2024. LegalShield stands out not just for its robust offerings but also for empowering ordinary individuals, families, and business owners with expert legal coverage at an affordable rate.
The essence of LegalShield's acclaim can be distilled into three paramount features that resonate deeply with the needs and aspirations of modern consumers.
Firstly, its all-encompassing coverage extends far beyond what typical legal services offer. Whether it’s unlimited legal advice on unlimited legal issues, drafting Wills, handling traffic tickets, dealing with employment issues, or navigating landlord and tenant matters, LegalShield ensures that you have legal assistance at your fingertips without the hefty price tag usually associated with such services. This democratization of legal protection injects a much-needed level of confidence into the everyday affairs of its members.
Secondly, LegalShield's commitment to immediacy and accessibility sets it apart. In a world where time is often equated with money, getting prompt legal advice can deter potential losses and emotional distress. With LegalShield, members gain instant access to legal counsel through a user-friendly app, making it not just a service but a lifeline for quick and informed legal decisions. It’s reassuring to know that expert advice is just a phone call or a click away.
Moreover, LegalShield doesn’t just stop at providing legal services; it educates and empowers its users, fostering a more legally aware society. Through various platforms, members receive insights into complex legal jargon and processes, making them more informed participants in their legal matters. This empowerment is a cornerstone of why Forbes Advisor recognizes LegalShield as a leader in the industry. It’s not just about solving problems as they arise, but preventing them through education and proactive advice.
As we draw conclusions, it's clear that LegalShield’s accolade as Forbes Advisor’s Best Overall Prepaid Legal Service Plan of 2024 is no small feat. This recognition is not merely about the breadth of services offered but about bridging the gap between legal complexities and the common individual.
In a society where legal assistance is perceived as a luxury, LegalShield redefines it as an accessible and essential service.
Indeed, in championing affordability, accessibility, and empowerment, LegalShield does not just provide a service; it revolutionizes the very fabric of legal protection for the better.
In embracing LegalShield, individuals are not just subscribing to a service plan; they are joining a movement towards a more just, informed, and legally equipped society. Here's to a future where legal support is not a privilege but a fundamental right accessible to all. Cheers to LegalShield, for leading the charge towards making this vision a reality.
After 51 years, we continue to be the disruptive innovators and leaders in this space, boasting the largest network of lawyers on the planet. How would you provide legal services for over 85% of North Americans who cannot afford the high hourly rates?
LegalShield has been the best solution.
