Candlelight Vigil for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People

The California Native American Legislative Caucus and Assemblymember Ramos will hold a candlelight vigil to bring awareness and raise the voices of the thousands of missing and murdered indigenous people in California.

LRCCD Honor Jazz Band


Join us Monday, May 8 at 7:30 pm at the ARC Main Theatre for the inaugural California Music Educators Association/Los Rios Community College District Jazz Honor Band, composed of top jazz students from ARC, SCC, CRC, and FLC. Directed by Dr. Dyne Eifertsen (ARC) and Max Kiesner (CRC).

 

Concert is free; a $10 donation is suggested.

Join us Wednesday, May 3 from 7:30 - 9:30 pm in the ARC Main Theater for the Orchestra Masterworks featuring Audience Command Performance Winners: Anne Plescia, violin and Chloe Jaffe, piano. General admission for this performance is $15 and $10 for students. Doors open at 7:00 pm.


The Many Muses

The American River College Music Department's Symphonic Band presents: The Many Muses directed by Professor Anthony Marvelli with guest, Woodcreek High School Wind Ensemble. Join us Thursday, May 4 at 7:30 pm in the ARC Main Theatre. General admission for this performance is $10.


9th Annual A Tribute to the War Years

The American River College Music Department's Instrumental Jazz Ensembles presents A Tribute to the War Years! Come dance the night away Friday, May 5 at 7:00 pm in the Student Center to big band music featuring the ARC Jazz Ensemble and the ARC Jazz Combos. The ticket is $12 and includes desserts prepared by the award-winning ARC Culinary Arts department. *Free admissions for veterans!

The American River College Music Department presents the Downbeat Award winning ARC Vocal Jazz Ensembles on Wednesday, May 10 at 8:00 pm in the ARC Main Theater. CD's will be available for sale in the lobby and all proceeds will go to the Vocal Jazz Program. General admission for this performance is $15.

Searching for a Furever Home

The students in the CRC Veterinary Technology program are looking for furever homes for their colony of animals! Each year these animals live on campus and help train our veterinary technology students with the skills to support critical care to our furry friends. Meet and greet with the available dogs and cats Sunday, April 30 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at CRC Soccer Field #2. Deposits will be taken that day and the pets can go to their furever homes the following week! 


Adoption rates: 

Dogs $50 

Cats $30 



All are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines. Dogs are also up to date on heartworm prevention medication.
