A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Greetings Primary Families,

I hope that everyone enjoys the winter break. I will see you in the New Year! Thank you to all the families who donated items this month. We greatly appreciate it.

Please watch for our bright orange inclement weather flags. If the flags are out, students should come right into the building at 7:30 a.m. I ask that you send your child to school with winter clothing and boots during this cold season.

In addition, a reminder that breakfast is from 7:30-7:50 am. All other students should be dropped off starting at 7:45 am. Here’s to a great next few weeks!

PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWS & HAPPENINGS

Character Trait of the Month

The character trait for the month of January is Honesty. Honesty means we are truthful in what we say and do. It means people can rely on us because we have integrity. Honesty is the basis of a trusting relationship. The more honest you are, the more easy it is to trust. Not only will others trust you, but you can also feel more confident when trusting others. It's always good to pay it forward and develop good karma. That's much easier to do with honesty than it is to do with not being true or faithful.Dec 15, 2014

Christmas Concert

Marinette Primary School held a Christmas Concert at the High School auditorium

on Tuesday, December 6th. They did a SUPER JOB!

Winter is here. Students will need a warm coat, hat, mittens, snow pants, and boots for playing outside. Students do go outdoors daily, weather permitting. Please be sure to dress them appropriately for the weather. Students who do not have the proper clothing will not be allowed to play in the snow and will need to stay on the blacktop. Should you need assistance with providing warm winter clothing for your child, please contact the office at 715-735-2500.

PTO Family Craft Night

PTO sponsored a family craft night on December 19th. Parents and their children made several ornaments. Thank you PTO for providing this evening of fun for our families.
