Proposed AAUW of Michigan Dues Increase

During the Annual Meeting, AAUWMI members will vote on the question "Shall the AAUWMI dues be increased by $3 for a total of $15 per person per year?"

AAUW of Michigan dues have not been increased since 2014. Rates and costs have increased across the board in the last 10 years, especially since COVID. We want to be able to maintain the high quality services our members have come to expect from our State Services Manager and Government Relations Coordinator (paid employees) as well as the other tools we use to conduct the work of AAUW of Michigan (website, hardware and software costs, and more). The Board of Directors does not take lightly the decision to put a dues increase on the ballot, which is why it comes so infrequently. With costs vaulting, however, we feel it’s necessary to make this request at this time. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
