Tulip Festival Tent Shift Sign-up - For ALL Families

The OC Tulip Festival is just 4 weeks away and the final details for this upcoming fundraiser are coming together! Thank you to everyone who has signed up for tent shifts. Special thanks to all the parents that signed up for double shifts! Your help is greatly appreciated. If you have not signed up for a work shift, the committee will assign you a work shift. If you have questions or troubles with Signup.com, please email us at occsmonica@gmail.com or contact Dori De Groot at (712) 470-0874 with any questions.

Unless a member of your family is a chairperson on the Tent, Soup, Pig or Straatmarket committees or serves as the Tiger Paws treasurer, an adult member from your family is asked to work at least one shift at either the Straatmarket or the tent.

Following is a list of youth workers and adults who are willing to work your shift for a suggested payment of $50. Please note the Unity students cannot work morning shifts on Thursday and Friday because they have school.

If you have hired a worker, please get your payment (check made out to your worker or cash with name of worker on the envelope) to the OCCS office as soon as possible. Please label the envelope with your name, date, and time of your shift, and who is working for you so it can be given to the appropriate shift supervisor. No Venmo, please. If you hired someone to work for you, please let the committee know who is working for you via email.

Watch next week’s Tiger Paws email on Wednesday for copies of tent schedules to confirm your sign-up date and time!

Pig Making Nights

Thank you to those who have already signed up to make and package pig-in-the-blankets! If you have not had the chance to do so, please visit the link below to get your spot. All OCCS families are responsible for having at least one adult worker present for this event. If you have family members that would like to help, they are welcome to join! Students 7th grade and up may help, but must be accompanied by an adult. If you have any questions, please contact Shawndra Kuiken at pskuiken@gmail.com.
