All of our monthly meetings have wrapped up for the year! Stay tuned for the January schedule in 2023.

Indiana Road to Zero Academy

Launches January 10

Join us on January 10, 2023, for an interactive webinar about the launch of Health by Design’s Indiana Road to Zero Academy. This webinar will provide a preview of the Academy, its content, intended audiences and objectives. We’ll also discuss Road to Zero and Safe System principles. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about the Academy, find out who should attend, what to expect for learning outcomes and how to apply them in your community.

The Academy is made possible in part by a Community Traffic Safety Grant awarded to Health by Design from Road to Zero. Funded by NHTSA, these grants support projects, programs, and research that put the Road to Zero strategy into practice and help achieve the mission of zero traffic deaths.

Stay tuned for registration information!

Mobility Management Network Reports Coming Soon!

Indiana has significant gaps in meeting the transportation and mobility needs of our communities. To provide the best quality of life for Indiana residents, we must understand the unique transportation challenges faced by persons with disabilities, older adults, veterans, transitioning youth, low-income individuals, and other vulnerable populations.

Health by Design, with support from our partners and Socius Amica, conducted extensive research and hosted stakeholder meetings to seek solutions for the mobility and transportation challenges our state faces.

We're sharing the findings in the Indiana Mobility Management Network Report, a convenient Briefing Book, and a Stakeholder Engagement report! You can read the materials on our website before the end of 2022.

The PPIP requires joint approval with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) following a minimum 45-day public comment and document review period. The public comment period is open from November 30, 2022 – January 14, 2023. Click here to comment!
