NEW: Benedictine Does It Again

The Benedictine College softball team was overjoyed when they took the field for their first practice of the 2021 season. Their field had just been upgraded from grass to FieldTurf.

“It’s one of the top facilities in the Midwest and helped their recruitment,” said Mammoth Project Manager Connor Harris. “There are not a lot of college softball fields that are turf.”

Now it’s the baseball team’s turn. Mammoth will perform a full conversion to FieldTurf, including demolition and removal of the old turf and curb, base construction, drainage, and new concrete curb, and installation of FieldTurf.

“The conversion will allow the team to be out on the field earlier in the season and practice longer,” Harris said.
