Sunapee Happenings

Charlotte Carlson’s

“Early Winter afternoon lights … waiting for first snowfall”.

Suspect there are many little ones who already have ‘vision of sugarplums dancing in their dreams’ with only 18 days until that Jolly Old Elf and his reindeer will be flying this way.  Santa has been visiting here and there all around the towns to hear whispered wishes for special gifts from his bag of toys.

Meteor Shower

Prior to Santa's visit, a spectacular meteor shower will be visible in the skies over New Hampshire. The most opportune time will be the nights of December 13th & 14th.

December’s already a magical month with the holidays, but for even more amazing moments? Turn your eyes to the sky for the biggest and boldest meteor shower of the year. You’ve got a bit of time to catch it too; it will be visible through Christmas Eve. However, if you time it just right, you might be able to see as many as 120 meteors dart across the sky each hour.

Cue The Music
