2022 SAR President Eric Etzel
talks real estate with
Reardan Lions Club members
An SAR president has many opportunities to evangelize about home ownership during a one-year term. Some engagements take you near, some take you far. This week, our team followed Highway 2 West to meet with members of the Reardan Lions club.
2022 SAR President Eric Etzel and SAR Public Affairs Director Tom McArthur brought current and historical information to share, including how Reardan-area houses are performing on the MLS. Eric also shared word of our partnership with Spokane Homebuilders to encourage more young people to enter the building trades.
There was time at the end for audience Q&A.

Thank you Reardan Lions for your kind invitation and warm welcome!

2022 SAR President Eric Etzel
gavels his final board meeting
2022 SAR President Eric Etzel gaveled his last board meeting, this week, upon completion of his term.
Etzel led many important board discussions over the past year, including hiring a new CEO, but points to association engagement around Frame your Future - a Spokane Homebuilders initiative to encourage more young people to enter the building trades - as one of the proudest accomplishments of the board during his term as chair.
President Eric capitalizes on his last name (Etzel) by driving a Ford Edsel (inset photo) in marketing his business.
After Eric gaveled his last board meeting to adjournment, this week, we presented him with a "thank you" cake styled to match the Edsel grill (photo below).
Edsel wasn't the hit Ford Motor Company executives had hoped for in 1957, but Etzel leaves a proud legacy as the association's 111th president.
Thank you, Eric!
