Local Match Program for Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill Projects
Now open; will remain open until all funds are spent |Apply through DOLA Division of Local Government Online Grants Portal. Through an interagency agreement, the Department of Local Affairs, Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and Governor’s budget office, have created a local match grant program to be used for local governments to support their non-federal match requirement when they apply directly to the federal government for infrastructure funding. In Fiscal Year 2022-23, $6 million will be available to local governments, and additional funds will be allocated in the following fiscal year. The minimum request for local match funds is $250,000.

Rural Technical Assistance Program - OEDIT Rural Opportunity Office

The goal of the RTAP program is to provide fundamental education to all rural communities around selected topics of interest and then provide opportunities for mentored project development and strategic implementation to help support long-term rural economic resiliency. The program is comprised of three coordinated phases, all housed under the umbrella of the RTAP banner:
Phase 1: Education - through online modules
Phase 2: Technical Outreach - more traditional technical assistance and mentorship
Phase 3: Technical Implementation - with the potential for implementation funding
Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Program

Provides funding to technical assistance providers to help local governments ensure housing needs are considered as part of their larger infrastructure investment plans, while also supporting equitable development and local economic development ecosystems in disadvantaged communities. The program focuses on identifying and using vacant, abandoned, or underutilized land located on or near transportation projects that is suitable for housing development to create location-efficient housing; preserving affordable housing and protecting residents and businesses from displacement as new infrastructure is deployed; others.
Veterans Business Outreach Center Program
Deadline: Nov. 23 | More info here. Offers support to provide quality training and counseling to veteran small business owners and entrepreneurs; provides training to transitioning military personnel and spouses through the Boots to Business (B2B) Training Program and to veterans and military spouses through the Reboot Training Program. Additionally, applicants will provide counseling, training, technical and financial skill development, comprehensive business assessments, and mentoring services to veteran, active duty, Reserve, National Guard, military spouse, and family member entrepreneurs, and small business owners interested in starting, expanding, and diversifying small businesses.
Brownfields and Land Revitalization Program
Deadline: Nov. 22 | More info here. This grant from the EPA works to change the way communities address and manage contaminated property. The Program is designed to empower states, communities, and other stakeholders to work together to prevent, assess, safely clean up, and sustainably reuse brownfields. Current grant opportunities include Multipurpose Grants, Community-wide Assessment Grants, Assessment Coalition Grants, Community-wide Assessment Grants for States and Tribes, Revolving Loan Fund Grants, and Cleanup Grants.
FTA Toolkit on Employee Recruitment for Bus Operators and Maintenance Workers

Colorado Water Plan Gants
