Scouts Trash the Trash Day is an international Messengers of Peace project for Scouts around the world, where each Scout is challenged to bring a friend or family member along and pick up at least 2.2 pounds of trash. We're happy to announce an upcoming Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Counselor Orientation, scheduled for Sunday, January 29th, 2023, at the Heart of Virginia Council Leadership Center. Please remember that we need each Troop to have a designated Counselor in order to fulfill the objectives of the badge. Unit leaders and Committees, think about who is best suited to guide your Scouts, on this personal journey.

Registration is open for the Eagle Scout Commencement & Alumni Reception recognizing the 2022 Heart of Virginia Council Eagle Scout Class!
