THIS WEEK AT ..................

St. Pete First UMC

Hi Kelly—

The title of Pastor Margaret's sermon this week is "Do You Love Me?" Do your failures and mistakes refine or define you? Do you feel trapped in stories of condemnation and self-doubt? Do you long for a second chance at life? Through Peter's post-resurrection encounter with the Risen Christ at the Sea of Tiberias, we will discover that the resurrection actually does not give us a second chance at life, but rather, it gives us a new, transformed one full of mission and purpose.

The text for this week is John 21:3-17 ESV.

A heads-up for tomorrow: our main elevator is out of order and cannot be repaired before Sunday. On Sunday, please use the stairs or the garden elevator (off 2nd Ave N). More here.

Next week (April 14) is Vision Sunday and the Sunday schedule is different! We will have a pancake breakfast offered by The WhereHouse Youth Ministry from 8:30am-9:45am, one worship service at 10am, and Sunday School at 11:15am.

Scam Alert

Scammers are always active, and some like to target churches. Don't forget that our pastors do not solicit money via emails or text messages. An example of the kind of scam text currently circulating: "Hello [your name], Kindly let me know if you're available I need your assistance as soon as you're available... Rev. Bob Martin, Senior Pastor". This text is a scam and is NOT from Pastor Bob. More information here.
