St. Stephen's College is excited to host an online public lecture with Dr. Sean Larsen.

Lecture Topic:

Knowing how to assess and respond to suicide risk is essential for all who work in the helping professions. Dr. Larsen has specialised in the area of suicide risk assessment for almost two decades working with children and youth in a variety of settings. In his workshop, Dr. Larsen will describe the history of suicide risk assessment, current trends, and essential risk factors to explore when conducting a risk assessment. He will discuss how to organise risk and create a formulation. He will discuss the essential elements safety planning and means-management.
