CACCE - All Things Chamber Webinar Series
Do you have a new staff member who needs to get up to speed on what a Chamber of Commerce is and does? Would you like some great content to review during your staff meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page with regard to the chamber industry? Well, we’ve got the series for you!

CACCE is pleased to partner with Teri Smiley and Starfish Partnerships for a new All Things Chamber Webinar Series.

The All Things Chamber bundle provides pre-recorded material, averaging a hour per module, plus downloadable notes pages of the PowerPoints and additional PDF documents.  Participating chambers will have access to the website through December 2025.

The fee for the program is $195 per chamber. CLICK HERE to register. Participating chambers will also be invited to a private Facebook group for Q&A and connecting with fellow chamber members across the country.

Marc Jordan Joins 365° Total Marketing
365° Total Marketing is delighted to announce the hiring of their newest team member, Marc Jordan, whose reputation of more than 30 years precedes him. As Director of Business Development, Marc brings decades of experience with Chambers of Commerce to his role at 365°. He served as the CEO/President with Chambers in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. While president of the Norfolk, VA Chamber, Marc was instrumental in merging five chambers to create the Hampton Roads Chamber. He served as president of the state association of Chambers in North Carolina and was named Executive of the Year by the state associations in both North Carolina and South Carolina. He is a Certified Chamber Executive and a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management. A native of Decatur, GA, Marc and his wife are parents to three: a daughter and son/daughter twins.

The Chamber held their 3rd Annual Run the Peak 5/10K on March 10. The event had 450 registrations and 25 health fair vendors. Countless impact by bringing the community together. Genesis of the event was looking for a creative way to raise funds for our operations.

The Chamber will host their 8th Annual 4 Under 40 Awards on April 24 at the Appalachian Theatre in Boone. Red carpet arrivals and a pre-event reception set the stage for an evening of celebration and recognition.
Chatham Chamber
The Chamber is pleased to announce that Tyler G. Bryant has been selected as the Chamber's new President & CEO. Bryant, an experienced community leader hailing from Georgia’s fastest-growing region, currently holds the position of President & CEO at the Hawkinsville-Pulaski Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber retained Anissa Starnes, IOM with YGM, LLC, who specializes in chamber executive searches to provide oversight for the national search. Bryant will begin work officially on May 1, 2024.

Greater Mount Airy Chamber
The Chamber proudly hosted its inaugural Advocacy Conference on March 21st, 2024, at the Service Center in Dobson, North Carolina. The event marked a significant milestone in the Chamber's efforts to foster collaboration, promote economic growth, and drive positive change within the community. Keynote speaker Gary J. Salamido, President and CEO of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, delivered an inspiring address focused on North Carolina's Winning Formula for Business. Highlighting the Chamber's vision and mission to establish and maintain North Carolina as a national leader for private sector job growth, Salamido emphasized the importance of research, advocacy, and collaboration in creating a competitive business climate. He underscored the Chamber's role in driving positive change through legislative, regulatory, and political initiatives, citing recent recognitions such as North Carolina being named America's Top State for Business in 2022 and 2023 by CNBC.
Jackson County Chamber
On Thursday, Feb. 15, the Chamber celebrated the 25th work anniversary of Executive Director, Julie Spiro Donaldson. The chamber staff treated her to a special surprise lunch, before its board of directors, ambassador team and many chamber friends, members and former board members came by to celebrate her accomplishment throughout the afternoon. Everyone enjoyed some snacks and a celebratory cake in her honor. All three of Jackson County's townships (Sylva, Webster and Dillsboro) gave her official proclamations in her honor. On Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Jackson County Board of Commissioners signed a proclamation designating February as officially “Julie Spiro Donaldson Appreciation Month in Jackson County,” for her 25 years of service as Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
Lancaster County Chamber
The Chamber is proud to announce they are partnering with the Clemson Cooperative Extension to host the Ag + Art Tour of Lancaster County! This will be the Chamber’s first time hosting the tour, which features a two-day celebration of the rich tapestry of agriculture and art intertwining in our community! Join the fun May 11th and 12th from 9am-4pm for an experience that showcases the vibrant spirit of rural life in our county! 
Myrtle Beach Area Chamber
The Chamber (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce Sports Business Journal selected Myrtle Beach as a top city in America to host sporting events. Myrtle Beach ranks No. 15 among U.S. cities without a team in a Big Five professional league and is featured in the journal’s March 18 issue. Editors spent six months conducting research on cities that are the most successful at attracting and hosting sports events across professional, collegiate and amateur organizations.

Government Affairs Reception
The NC Chamber hosts its Government Affairs event to bring together business leaders, local chambers of commerce, and legislators to discuss the aligned business community’s jobs agenda and issues crucial to its future. NC Chamber Foundation Names Senior Director of Infrastructure Competitiveness
The NC Chamber Foundation has named Dana Magliola senior director of infrastructure competitiveness to build and lead the Foundation’s long-term strategy and policy agenda for infrastructure and growth-related issues. Prior to joining the NC Chamber Foundation, Magliola led the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) Statewide Freight and Logistics program, recognized as one of the most innovative, active, and effective in the nation. Additionally, Magliola served as the NCDOT’s supply-chain subject matter expert, providing freight-related research and analysis, and has been actively involved in economic development activities statewide. The Chamber will host their 2024 Annual Women's Leadership Conference on May 1 from 8am to 1:30pm. Allison Shapira will be the keynote speaker for the event.
Rowan Chamber
The Chamber's 2nd Annual Minority Business Trade Show will be held April 25 from 4-7pm at Livingstone College Hospitality Center in Salisbury, NC. The Minority Business Trade Show will be the Chamber’s largest networking event. It is a business-to-business expo with valuable business connections made among the participants. Several of the booths will offer valuable door prizes in addition of a grand prize at the end of the evening.
Stanly County Chamber
The Chamber is pleased to announce Erica Church as their new President/CEO. Erica was most recently the VP of Business Development for the Rowan Chamber. She will begin her new role on April 8.
Wendell Chamber
Chamber members are responding very positively to a new member retention initiative! The Chamber is scheduling meetings with members five months after they join or renew their membership. In these personalized sessions, Chamber representatives discuss the member's business goals and delve into how the Chamber's resources and programs can provide more value. This proactive approach is fostering a stronger sense of connection and ensures members are maximizing their Chamber experience. Ultimately it is expected that this process will also improve annual member retention.

Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management program? Curious to learn if it’s the right fit? Join Institute staff and volunteers Tuesday, April 23 at 2:00 PM EDT for a one-hour information session. The session will provide a program overview, including the curriculum and faculty, scholarships, sites and dates, and resources, in addition to a Q&A session at the end. Each of the four sites will be represented by the Board of Regents Chair, a graduate of the program and current volunteer.
