Moreno Valley's Fourth of July Parade & FunFest is right around the corner!

Hey, MoVal! Join us at 9:30 a.m. to watch our Fourth of July parade down Frederick Street, featuring all your favorite community members, local businesses, and more.

And later that day, don't forget to stop by our signature FunFest at the Civic Center Amphitheater, the B-E-S-T Fourth of July event in the Inland Empire! The FunFest will run from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and feature live bands, delicious food vendors, a beer garden, a youth fun zone, and one of the most exciting fireworks shows in the region! Pre-event tickets are on sale now until July 1.

Leave the Fireworks to the Professionals!

Did you know illegal fireworks are the number one non-emergency priority for Moreno Valley Police?

Last year, the Police Department and Code Enforcement Officers issued 83 citations totaling nearly $138,000 in fines. Officers are patrolling on the ground and in the air looking for illegal fireworks. Those caught with illegal fireworks can face fines of up to $3,500.

This Fourth of July, leave fireworks to the professionals.

Mark your calendars, because the MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies summer series is here!

MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies features exciting live bands and fun, family-friendly movies at our Civic Center Amphitheater. Both are great ways to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley summer evening under the stars and among friends!

MoVal Rocks and MoVal Movies take place every Thursday and Friday evening from June 27 to August 2.

Meow is the Time!

Every Wednesday in July, cats and kittens will be only $10 to adopt during Whisker Wednesdays at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter! This price includes spay and neuter surgery, vaccines, and the HomeAgain microchip.

There's never been a better time to bring home your new best friend! Come on down to the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter on July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to find that perfect match.

Pet of the Week: Sue Flay

Our Pet of the Week is a 48-pound, two-year-old French Bulldog mix named Sue Flay (yes, pronounced just like the French dish). 

Sue Flay is very sweet, and has a BIG personality despite her smaller size! She's great with other dogs, comfortable on a leash, and already has a couple of tricks she's eager to share in exchange for the right doggie treat or encouraging words of praise!
