Are your 2024 sewing projects done? If not, you have run out of time. No worries, 2025 is a fresh new year. I’m guessing I’m not the only one with a few UFOs (unfinished objects). I think unfinished sewing and quilting projects sometimes need time to “season.” Some projects require more “seasoning” time than others … my guilt-free excuse even when lingering for years. In my upcoming SCHMETZ Snippet Live on New Year’s Day from my home sewing room, I’ll talk about a few personal quilting and sewing UFOs including my beautiful Lily of the Valley quilt. (It’s finished but is it done?) I’ll also show my most recent S.E.T. (Sewing, Eating, Thrifting) Retreat projects and explain how I made dozens of vintage handkerchief gift bags last year.
A special thank you for using SCHMETZ needles to stitch heartwarming gifts, charity quilts, utility projects, fashion, art, statement pieces, and every kind of creative and zany project in between. Through SCHMETZ, my pleasure has been to meet you in virtual guilds, shops, retreats, and in person throughout the past years. If we haven’t met yet, I look forward to meeting you in the fresh and abundant new year. Until then, join me virtually on Wednesday. Wishing you a Healthy & Zesty New Year with lots of finished projects!
