TOMORROW, April 3, the Senate Appropriations Health and Human Services Committee will review SB 3764, a vital bill proposing to raise DSP wages to 150% of the minimum wage, aligning with the Guidehouse Rate Study's recommendations.
Despite the urgent need for this increase, Governor JB Pritzker's FY2025 budget proposal overlooks DSP wage enhancements, underscoring the critical nature of your support. By filing a witness slip for SB 3764, you join over 1,300 advocates in a united front for equitable DSP compensation, directly impacting the lives of those dedicated to caring for others. Your voice is critical in this collective push for fairness and justice in DSP wages.

- Click on the "Create Witness Slip" button;
- Fill out all applicable fields for "I. Identification."
- Fill out "II. Representation" Please complete this based on your connection to the issue, i.e., DSP, QIDP, Front Line Supervisor, parent, advocate, CEO, etc., and if you are affiliated with a provider organization.
- Under "III. Position"
- Under the drop-down, select "SB 3764."
- Next to that drop-down, select "Proponent."
