PUT ON YOUR JEANS AND PINK SHIRTS ! The ASCS Annual “Breast Cancer Awareness Day” to support the American Cancer Society is Friday, October 7.

October 21 will now be an early dismissal for teacher in-service for the school accreditation.

January 30 will be a full day of school. Please mark your calendars now!

When ordering lunch for your child be sure to include the correct homeroom teacher for each student.

Sign-ups will be completed by the end of this week. At that time, we will know how many players we have for JV/Varsity Boys & Girls, and that will dictate the number of teams. Basketball will start mid-end of October and run through mid-March. 

Parent Volunteers are needed to coach. As in the past, we will need 2 coaches per team. If you are interested in being a parent volunteer coach, please email Karen Cella - at [email protected]. 

Days for practices will be on Mondays and Fridays at All Saints between the hours of 4:00-9:00. Practice times will be up to the coaches. Games are typically scheduled on the weekends. The boys' JV/Varsity games will be scheduled on Saturday and JV/V Girls' games will be scheduled on Sundays. All teams usually try to play 12 games. 

This winter, a non-competitive basketball program for Grades 3 and 4 will be offered through the After School Sports Club during Session 2.  

THE SCHOOL BAND begins lessons soon and Mr. C says it's not too late to sign up. There are two easy ways to register.

1. Fill out your band registration form and hand it in at school. Mr. C will pick it up and get you set up for lessons on the instrument of your choice
2. Visit the music service's website and get registered online. (this is the quickest and most efficient way). https://ed.pemusic.com/register/

Your child is the perfect age to get started on a musical instrument, so take the challenge and get started this year!
