Calling all parents of teens! Please join us for a supportive discussion and an opportunity to connect with other UC San Diego parents.

 

This support group is in collaboration with the Women’s Center and facilitated by Izabel Caetano Francy, LCSW, a Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) licensed clinician, who is also a full-time working parent.

 

Open to all UC San Diego campus Faculty and Staff parents of teens ages 12 and up.



We acknowledge that developmental levels vary. Please join this group or any of the other support groups as you feel appropriate based on you/your child’s needs.

Parenting post-pandemic may still feel like unfamiliar territory for us all, especially for those who were pregnant or gave birth while working remotely, not to mention the difficulty balancing roles amid a variety of stressors. Parenting is never easy, but this is unprecedented. You are not alone!

This support group is in collaboration with the Women’s Center and facilitated by Izabel Caetano Francy, LCSW, a Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) licensed clinician, who is also a full-time remote working parent.

Open to all UC San Diego campus Faculty and Staff mothers of any age, partnered or single.

Let’s Talk About Menopause! 

(For Staff & Faculty)

Join us for an open conversational space created for Campus Staff & Faculty where we will explore the topic of menopause and support one another through sharing experiences, feelings, resources, and strategies to better navigate an often-challenging phase of life.

Participants will be invited to share their menopause related topics of interest. Personal medical questions must be reserved for consultation with a healthcare provider.

This is a collaboration with the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) and the Women’s Center, facilitated by Izabel Caetano Francy, LCSW, and Jennifer Triana, LCSW, FSAP licensed clinicians, and menopause champion Jess Geipel, all of whom recognize that menopause affects people differently and understand that one person’s experience does not represent all people’s experience.

Women's Center Community Space Hours

Monday-Friday: 10 AM - 3 PM (June 18-28)


The Women Center will close at 2 PM, on Thursday, 6/13, and will be closed

all day Monday, 6/17, for a staff retreat, and Wednesday, 6/19,

in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.
